The newly constructed Pickens County Detention Center, located at 701 South Catherine Street in Pickens, houses inmates waiting to go before a judge and those that have been convicted. The state-of-the-art facility is designed to accommodate up to 363 inmates. The facility opened in 2019 under the direction of Sheriff Rick Clark.
